2006 - Lift Doctor Ltd has been re-awarded the contract with Sheffield University, securing the maintenance of further sites well into 2007.
2006 - Turner Investments, Rundall Gate, Sheffield awarded contract to Lift Doctor with a full DDA refurb.
SHEFFIELD UNIVERSITY SITES:
2005 - Education Building
Full DDA refurbishment including all accessibility features and Evacuation controls on the 9 floor building.
2005 - Robens Building
Complete DDA upgrade on Kone lift, sub-contracted in by MEC Sheffield.
2005 - Hicks Building
DDA Evacuation controls.
2005 - Sir Rob Hadfield Building
DDA Evacuation Controls
2004 - Arts Tower. Completed DDA Evacuation controls on all 22 Floors of the Sheffield university building.
DDA - Two Aspects:
1. Accessibility features for disabled and wheelchair access including: Easy access of controls and voice announcements.
2. Evacuation Controls. Including voice intercom and a console to control the lift and return the passenger to ground. Regulations of tall buildings required these controls to be installed in lifts.
